Application of sodium thiocyanate:
Auxiliary material for hydrogen peroxide production and catalyst for organic
synthesis, material for cyanides, ferrocyanides and sulfourea; dispersing
agent in zinc-coated dyeing and printing.
Solvent for acrylic fiber, reagent for chemical analysis, developing agent
for color motion picture film, defoliant for some plants and herbicide for
airfield. Also used in pharmaceutical, dyeing and printing, rubber treatment,
black nickel plating and artificial mustard oil industries
